Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Carpenter
Trade Certification, 2nd Period Apprentice, 3rd Period Apprentice, 4th
Period Apprentice, Carpenter Red Seal Endorsement
Experience: 3 - 5 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Major Work Area: Construction
Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Commercial
Area of Specialization: General carpentry, Rough carpentry, Form work
Specific Skills: Determine specifications and calculate requirements, Prepare layouts
Additional Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots
Work Site Environment: At heights
