Concrete finisher
  Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Weekend, Day, Evening
  Salary: $23.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week
  Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
  Location: Calgary North East, Alberta (2 vacancies )
  Skill Requirements:
   
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
Experience: 3 - 5 years
Languages: Not required
Major Work Area: Construction, Resurface, Repair and patch
Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Commercial, Institutional, Residential
Area of Specialization: Waterproofing, Grouting, Decorative finishing, Cutting and coring concrete, Floor pouring, Floor finishing, Slab installation
Materials Used: Hardners and epoxies, Light weight concrete, Reinforcing membrane and protective covering
Specific Skills: Direct placement of concrete into forms or surfaces, Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement, Operate power vibrators to compact concrete, Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification, Finish concrete surfaces using hand and power tools, Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures, Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces, Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces, Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
