Trade Certification, 2nd Period Apprentice, 3rd Period Apprentice, 4th
Period Apprentice, Automotive Service Technician Red Seal Endorsement,
Truck and Transport Mechanic Red Seal Endorsement, Motor Vehicle
Inspector Certificate |
| Experience: Experience an asset |
| Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English |
| Type of Experience: Trucks |
Automotive Service Technician Specific Skills: Road
test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and components, Adjust,
repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems, Perform
scheduled maintenance service, Advise customers on work performed and
future repair requirements |
Mechanical Repairer Specific Skills: Inspect
and test mechanical units, Diagnose faults and malfunctions, Repair and
replace mechanical units, Test and adjust units to specifications |
| Truck Mechanic Specific Skills: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, Perform scheduled maintenance service |
| Additional Skills: Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor, Coach and instruct apprentices |
| Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract) |
| Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots |
