  Skill Requirements:
   
Education: Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic Trade Certification
Experience: 1 - 2 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Major Work Area: Repair, Maintenance, Service
Specific Skills: Troubleshoot
and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, Determine
extent of repair required, Adjust equipment and repair or replace
defective parts, Test repaired equipment for proper performance, Clean,
lubricate and perform other maintenance work
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Valid driver’s licence
Work Location Information: On-site customer service
Essential Skills: Oral communication, Problem solving, Job task planning and organizing
Other Information: ****MUST
HAVE OWN MECHANICS TRUCK *****Valid class 5 driver’s license with
driver’s abstract. Licensed HET or AST preferred with minimum 2 years
experience.Must be very self-motivated; able to handle people and
evaluate driver skills; good troubleshooting skills. Wage
$359.-$375./per/day.
