  Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Weekend, Evening
  Salary: $29.15 Hourly for 44 hours per week, Other Benefits
  Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
  Location: Calgary North East, Alberta (10 vacancies )
  Skill Requirements:
   
Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Cement Finisher Trade Certification, 1st Period Apprentice, 3rd Period Apprentice, Cement Finisher Red Seal Certificate
Experience: 3 - 5 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Major Work Area: Construction, Resurface, Repair and patch
Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Commercial
Area of Specialization: Floor pouring, Floor levelling, High tolerance floors, Slab installation
Materials Used: Hardners and epoxies, Colours and sealers
Specific Skills: Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement material, Direct placement of concrete into forms or surfaces, Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement, Operate power vibrators to compact concrete, Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification, Finish concrete surfaces using hand and power tools, Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces, Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
Additional Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Continuous learning

Specific Skills: Direct placement of concrete into forms or surfaces, Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement, Operate power vibrators to compact concrete, Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification, Finish concrete surfaces using hand and power tools, Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures, Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces, Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces, Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
