Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): 1st Period Apprentice, 2nd Period Apprentice, 3rd Period Apprentice, 4th Period Apprentice
Experience: 3 - 5 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Major Work Area: Construction
Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Commercial, Residential
Area of Specialization: Fire alarm systems, Security and surveillance systems, Lighting systems, Heating/cooling and heat tracing systems
Type of Equipment: Programmable logic controls and associated devices, Fibre optics, Conventional electrical devices
Specific Skills: Read
and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications, Install
underground wiring and cables, Splice, join and connect wires, Test and
measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits
Additional Skills: Professionalism in customer service, Keep maintenance reports and documentation
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat
