Education: Completion
of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training,
Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Communication Electrician Trade Certification, 1st Period Apprentice, 2nd Period Apprentice, 3rd Period Apprentice, Not required
Experience: Experience an asset
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Major Work Area: Installation, Repair, Service
Type of Establishment Experience: Telecommunications company
Type of Equipment: Single line, Coaxial line, Fibre optic line
Specific Skills: Test equipment to locate transmission faults, Determine nature, cause and location of trouble
Additional Skills: Read blueprints, Work at heights or in confined spaces, Complete and maintain test and service records, Instruct apprentices
