| Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training |
| Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Electrical Mechanic Trade Certification, Motor Winder Trade Certification |
| Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years |
| Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English |
| Major Work Area: Maintenance, Repair, Testing, Service |
| Area of Specialization: Electric motors, Generators, Commutators, Armatures |
| Specific Skills: Repair or replace components and wiring, Wind, assemble and install various types of coils, Perform static or dynamic balancing of armatures or rotors, Test to ensure proper performance |
| Additional Skills: Use machining tools to fabricate or recondition parts, Weld or braze components, Instruct apprentices |
| Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots |
| Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information, Continuous learning |
