Anticipated Start Date: 2009/01/05
Location: Area surrounding the City of Edmonton, Alberta (20 vacancies )
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Construction Electrician Red Seal Endorsment, Occupational Health and Safety Certificate, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, WHMIS Certificate
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Major Work Area: Construction
Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Industrial
Type of Equipment: Programmable logic controls and associated devices, Motors and controls, Generators and turbines, Instrumentation
Specific Skills: Prepare layouts for machinery and controls, Install, replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes, Splice, join and connect wires, Troubleshoot and isolate faults
Own Tools/Equipment: Safety equipment/gear, Steel-toed safety boots
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment
Transportation/Travel Information: Travel expenses paid by employer
